
EASTOVER, N.C. — Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting that left four people injured on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies were called to a disturbance at 4001 Pembroke Lane in Eastover and found four people who had been shot.
The victims were taken to undisclosed hospitals, where one victim succumbed to their injuries.
Their identities are being withheld at this time.
This does not appear to be a random incident.
